NurseCadet is an online NCLEX-RN question bank in development from Fullmater LLP, for nursing students and graduates preparing for the NCLEX-RN exam in the United States. It will offer original practice questions written to the 2026 NCLEX-RN test plan, including Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) case studies and bowtie questions, with a rationale for every answer option. At launch it will include a free practice set that needs no account, a study plan built from your exam date, results by client needs area, a practice readiness check that is not a prediction of your result, one-click cancel with no auto-renewal trap, and email support answered by a person. Today the site only collects a waitlist. Pricing is not set. NurseCadet is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCSBN.
Rationales for every option, not just the right answer
In public reviews of NCLEX prep tools, the praise that comes up most is for rationales that explain every answer, good and bad. On study forums the most repeated advice is simply: read your rationales. So every NurseCadet question explains why each option is right or wrong for this client, in plain language.
Try one: a rationale for every option
Below is an original NurseCadet-style question, written by us. Every option has its own rationale, including the three wrong ones.
A client with heart failure is prescribed furosemide 40 mg by mouth once daily. Before giving the morning dose, the nurse reviews the client’s laboratory results. Which result should the nurse report to the health care provider before giving the medication?
Next Gen NCLEX case studies and bowtie questions
Candidates describing their exam on study forums often mention several case studies and bowtie questions. The current test plan confirms that every NCLEX-RN exam includes three clinical judgment case studies of six questions each (see the facts below).
A NurseCadet case study follows one client through six questions as new information unfolds: a nurse’s note, new vital signs, a provider’s order. Each question tests one step of NCSBN’s clinical judgment model: recognize cues, analyze cues, prioritize hypotheses, generate solutions, take action and evaluate outcomes.
Bowtie questions put the condition the client is most likely experiencing in the middle, the actions to take on one side and the parameters to monitor on the other. We also cover matrix, drop-down, highlight and drag-and-drop formats, with partial credit where the test plan gives it.
What we commit to at launch
One-click cancel, no auto-renewal trap
Cancel from your account in one click, with no email or phone call needed. Before any payment you will see the price, whether anything renews, and the refund terms. The most common complaint in reviews of NCLEX prep tools is being unable to cancel or being charged after cancelling. That will not happen here.
A free practice set, no account needed
At launch you can try a free practice set without creating an account or entering a card, so you can judge the questions and rationales before you pay anything.
A study plan from your exam date, and results by area
Enter your exam date and get a day-by-day plan. Every question is tagged to one of the eight client needs areas, so your results show which areas need more work.
A practice readiness check, not a prediction
Timed practice tests give you a readiness indicator so you can see how you are trending. It is a practice indicator, not a prediction of your result: no practice score can tell you whether you will pass the NCLEX-RN exam, and we will never claim it does.
A real person answers your email
Email support is answered by a person on our team, within two business days. No chatbot-only support.
NCLEX-RN questions written by us, not copied from the exam
Live NCLEX items are confidential: NCSBN’s test plan says disclosing exam items is a violation of law. So anyone selling “real NCLEX questions” is either wrong or breaking the rules. Every NurseCadet question is original, written to the published test plan.
Who builds NurseCadet
NurseCadet is built by Fullmater LLP. Before deciding what to build, we read public reviews of NCLEX prep tools on Reddit, Trustpilot, the App Store and Google Play. The commitments on this page come straight from the most common complaints.
We have no pass rates to claim, no students yet and no reviews yet. Before launch we will publish who writes and reviews the questions, with their credentials.
Price
Pricing is not set yet, and waitlist members hear first. The free practice set needs no account and no card. When paid plans exist, you will see the price, whether anything renews, and the refund terms before you pay, and you can cancel in one click. There is nothing to buy on this page.

It has not launched; today this site only collects a waitlist.
Are these real NCLEX questions?
No, and no honest provider can sell those. Live NCLEX items are confidential under NCSBN rules. Every NurseCadet question is original and written in the style and formats of the current NCLEX-RN test plan.
Does NurseCadet include Next Gen NCLEX (NGN) questions?
Yes. The question bank includes six-question NGN case studies and stand-alone clinical judgment questions, including bowtie, matrix, drop-down, highlight and drag-and-drop formats, as well as multiple choice and select-all-that-apply.
Is there a free version?
Yes. At launch there will be a free practice set you can use without creating an account or entering a card.
Will you auto-renew me or make it hard to cancel?
No. Cancelling takes one click from your account. Before any payment you will see the price, whether anything renews, and the refund terms.
Does NurseCadet predict whether I will pass?
No. Our readiness check is a practice indicator, not a prediction of your result. No practice score can tell you whether you will pass the NCLEX-RN exam.
How many questions are on the NCLEX-RN?
Between 85 and 150. The exam is computerized adaptive, so it stops once it can make a pass or fail decision. You have five hours, including breaks. Every exam includes three case studies of six questions each and 15 unscored pretest questions. Source: NCSBN, 2026 NCLEX-RN Test Plan.
How much will NurseCadet cost?
Pricing is not set yet. People on the waitlist hear first, and nobody is charged without choosing to pay. There is nothing to buy on this site today.
